Andoni Elias Nava is a Mexican-American filmmaker based concurrently out of Los Angeles, California and New York City, New York. He has a wide range of interests and experiences in the fields of Film and Television, having worked as a Producer, Writer/Director, Editor, and Assistant Director for various clients and artists over the years.
After receiving his BFA in Film and Television from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Andoni wrote, directed, and produced his first feature film, "The Hedgehog Dilemma", which premiered at the Lucerne International Film Festival in 2012.
He’s since done work for several clients with diverse backgrounds and in a variety of formats and genres.
His credits include work for RAINN, Spotify, Funny or Die, Nike, Doomsday Entertainment, The Los Angeles Tourism Board, Seven Bucks Studios, the CBS Sports Network, Vanity Fair, The Children's Defense Fund, J.P. Morgan, and The Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation, as well as LA based sports teams, the LA Kings, and LA Galaxy. He has also done work for visual artists such as New York painter and fashion icon Linda Mason, and former Vanity Fair photo editor Mark Jacobson.
In the Fall of 2016, Andoni relocated from his home in Brooklyn, NY to Los Angeles, CA, where he has since done extensive work in the world of music video. He’s worked in on videos for such diverse artists as Outkast's Big Boi, Adam Levine, Wyclef Jean, Halsey, G-Eazy, Vance Joy, Sylvan Esso, and Tune-Yards. In addition to his commercial and music video work, Andoni has extensive experience in narrative filmmaking, working on everything from feature films to branded comedy series.
